Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how Kanatir Kinetics ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We are a Canadian private-sector organization and aim to handle personal information consistent with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This website is a marketing and information site: it has no user accounts, no login, and no database of visitor records.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to send it through our contact form. Specifically, the form collects:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your organization name (optional);
  • the inquiry category you select; and
  • the contents of the message you write.

When you submit the form, our service provider also briefly processes your IP address for security and anti-abuse purposes (see "How we protect it" below). We do not ask for, and you should not send, any sensitive, classified, controlled, or export-restricted information.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit solely to read, route, and respond to your inquiry, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it to build any profile of you.

Consent

The contact form requires you to check a consent box before submitting. By doing so, you consent to our use of the information for the purpose described above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; we will then delete your message and details unless we are legally required to retain them.

Marketing communications

We do not operate a mailing list and we do not add you to one when you contact us. We will only send you marketing or newsletter communications if you separately and expressly opt in, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Any such message would include a way to unsubscribe.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party service providers to operate this site and process inquiries:

  • our website host and content-delivery / security provider, which serves the site and provides basic protection against abuse; and
  • an email-delivery provider, which transmits the contents of your contact-form submission to our inbox.

These providers process your information only to provide their service to us. We do not control, and this policy does not cover, the independent practices of these providers; their own terms and privacy policies apply to their handling of data.

Cookies and analytics

At launch this site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and uses no third-party tracking pixels. Our host may process limited, aggregated technical request data for security and performance, but this is not used to identify or track individual visitors by us. If we later add privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics, we will update this policy first.

How we protect it

The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. To prevent spam and abuse, contact-form submissions are checked server-side and the submitting IP address may be used briefly to limit repeated submissions; this short-lived security record expires automatically (within about an hour) and is not used to identify you. Access to inquiries we receive is limited to people who need it. No method of internet transmission is perfectly secure, so please send only unclassified, non-sensitive information.

Retention

Because inquiries reach us as email, we keep them only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence, or as required by law, and then dispose of them securely. The transient security record described above expires on its own.

Where your information is processed

Our service providers may process or store data on servers located outside your province or outside Canada. Where that is the case, the information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed. We aim to work with providers that offer appropriate safeguards. If you have questions about data location before sending an inquiry, contact us by email first.

Your rights

Subject to legal limits, you may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for its use. Contact us at info@kanatirkinetics.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is intended for business, government, and professional audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the company and site evolve. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected here.

This policy is provided for general information and is not legal advice. Questions can be sent to info@kanatirkinetics.com.
